1時間目の小講堂から、なかなか流暢なSPEECHが聞こえてきます。
中学2年生の男女合同による 《THE SPEECH CONTEST》 が行われていました。
(※女子の発表に取材が間に合わず申し訳ありません)
スピーチそのものの発音や話し方もさることながら、
扱われている内容もひとそれぞれで、これまたバリエーションに富んだ発表でした。
やはり、もっとも多かったのが「家族(ペット含む)」を題材としたもの。
その他、時事問題や文化・歴史にかかわるもの。
そして、みずからの貴重な「経験」に基づいた説得力あふれるスピーチもありました。
ひるまず、堂々と人前で発表する姿はいつ見ても頼もしい限りです。
